Song Focus #1 - Another Song

This is the oldest song on the album. I originally wrote it about 10 years ago, and I have always liked the song. In the early stages of recording the album, I thought I would give it another shot. It seemed to work all right. The song is a love song with the main character having trouble saying the words, “I love you.” The basic tracks of acoustic guitar, piano, bass, and banjo drum were initially recorded. I overdubbed a harmonica part as well as the accordion. It still needed something more. I contacted Rolf Olson to enhance the sound. We duet a bit, and then he wails on the solo and outro. The track is a toe-tapper and a fitting way to start the album.
